Identive Names Steven Humphreys Chairman, Manfred Mueller As COO - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Identive Group, Inc. (INVE), a provider of secure identification solutions, Friday said it named Steven Humphreys as the new chairman of the board, and promoted Lawrence Midland to president, and Manfred Mueller to chief operating officer, with immediate effect.

Steven Humphreys who will be succeeding Ayman Ashour, has been a director and an independent director of the company, and has previously served as chairman of the board from 2000 to 2007. Humphreys also was the president and chief executive officer from 1996 to 2007. Currently, he serves as chief executive officer of Flywheel Software. He has led a number of technology companies in his 25-year career span.

Lawrence Midland, co-founded Hirsch Electronics and after its acquisition, he has served as an executive officer and director of Identive, with particular emphasis on the HIRSCH brand of physical access control products, systems and services..

Manfred Mueller, has been a part of Identive for over 13 years in sales, marketing and operations departments. Mueller has been an executive officer of the company since 2006, most recently heading Identive's global products business.
