ICL Offers To Buy 84% Of Allana It Does Not Own For C$137 Mln - Quick Facts
(RTTNews) - Israel Chemicals Ltd. or ICL (ICL) Friday offered to acquire the 84 percent of Allana Potash Corp. (AAA.TO) it does not already own for C$0.50 per share or a total of about C$137 million. ICL currently holds 16.36 percent of Allana's shares which it acquired in 2014.
The offer is supported by Allana's Board of Directors, and will be paid by ICL in cash and in ICL common stock.
The acquisition of Allana will enable ICL to accelerate the development of Allana's concession to mine potash in Ethiopia.
