ICL Industrial Products Announces Price Increase for Hydrobromic Acid and its Derived Products

BEER-SHEBA, Israel, July 22, 2013 /PRNewswire/ --

ICL Industrial Products, of ICL Group, announces a global price increase for Hydrobromic Acid and derived products, Sodium Bromide and Calcium Bromide.

Prices will increase as follows:

•    Hydrobromic Acid price will be increased by 20 percent,

•    Calcium Bromide price will be increased by 10 percent, and

•    Sodium Bromide price will be increased by 10 percent.

All prices will be increased by August 1^st, 2013, subject to existing contracts.

The company said that these price increases follow the increase in production costs and are required to support the reinvestments in production facilities and increase of production capacity, to ensure sustainable and high service supply of the products to the increasing future demand.

ICL Industrial Products is one of ICL's (TASE: ICL) three operating segments. It produces bromine, magnesia and chlorine from Dead Sea brines, and manufactures and markets a range of bromine compounds, including flame retardants, bromides for industry, agriculture and water treatment products, as well as a range of magnesia products, phosphorous and chlorine-based products for numerous uses.
