Ibis Tek, Inc. Announces Formation of Board of Directors
BUTLER, Pa., March 8, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- An investment group including DJH Management and Rockwood Equity Partners acquired the business of the former Ibis Tek, LLC, in February, reincorporating as Ibis Tek, Inc. (the "Company"). Industry veterans Vince Nardy and Phillip Won each joined the Company as CEO and CFO, respectively, effective January 1, 2017.
The company today announced the formation of its Board of Directors. In addition to Mr. Nardy, several other individuals have agreed to join Ibis Tek, Inc.'s Board, including:
General Joseph (Joe) Yakovac (retired) – General Yakovac, retired from the United States Army in 2007, concluding 30 years of military service. His last assignment was Director of the Army Acquisition Corps and Military Deputy to the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Acquisition, Logistics, and Technology. In those roles, General Yakovac managed a team of military and civilian acquisition experts responsible for ensuring that America's soldiers received state-of-the-art critical systems and support across a full spectrum of Army operations. Previously, General Yakovac worked in systems acquisition, U.S. Army Tank-Automotive Command (TACOM), and in systems management and horizontal technology integration for the Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Acquisition, Logistics, and Technology. General Yakovac previously served on the board of Directors of HDT Global (formerly known as Hunter Defense Technologies) during Vince Nardy's tenure as CEO.
John (Jack) Custer – Mr. Custer brings more than 40 years of experience in the defense industry, providing deep knowledge in contracting and business development with the Department of Defense (DoD). Jack was with HDT Global from 1975 to 2015, most recently as Senior Vice President for HDT's U.S. programs, leading business development activities and overseeing all new contract proposals for programmatic opportunities within the company for all branches of the DoD and joint programs. He has successfully executed hundreds of DoD contracts from small parts orders to individual multi-year contracts in excess of $100 million. During his tenure at the company, he saw HDT grow from $16 million to more than $500 million in revenues between 2000 and 2010.
Deron (DJ) Haley – Mr. Haley is currently the Managing Partner of DJH Management LLC. He also is a Partner at Halo Privacy, an early-stage cyber communications firm that offers an integrated business and personal communications and data platform for c-suite executives, high profile individuals and family offices. Prior to joining Halo, DJ spent more than 15 years in capital markets and asset management, and was most recently the Chief Operating Officer of Hound Partners, LLC, a $5B global equity hedge fund.
Greg Warner – Mr. Warner is the President of Ingleside Investors (aka A.C. Israel Enterprises, Inc.), which he joined in 1998. Prior to joining Ingleside, Greg worked as a consultant for McKinsey & Company advising companies in the financial services industry.
