IAMGOLD Swings To Loss

(RTTNews) - Gold producer IAMGOLD Corp. (IAG, IMG.TO), Wednesday reported third-quarter net loss of $72.5 million or $0.19 per share, compared to last year's net income of $25.3 million or $0.07 per share last year.

Adjusted earnings for the quarter were $0.2 million or $0.00 per share, down from $26.2 million or $0.07 per share last year.

Revenues for the quarter rose to $341.5 million from $293.5 million last year.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.04 per share on revenues of $324.58 million for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
