(IMG.TO, IAG) reported a fourth-quarter loss from continuing operations attributable to equity holders of $675.9 million, compared to a loss of $148.7 million in the same prior year period. Adjusted net loss including discontinued operations attributable to equity holders was $62.8 million or $0.16 per share, down from adjusted net earnings of $10.2 million or $0.03 per share, for the prior year. Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report a loss per share of $0.11. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Revenues from continuing operations were $238.2 million, down 13% from the same prior year period mainly due to lower sales volume and lower realized gold prices. Analysts expected revenue of $218.58 million for the quarter.
