i2's Supply Chain Leader Magazine Receives Industry Awards and Recognition

Supply Chain Leader, a magazine of ideas and innovation written and published by i2 Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq:ITWO), the supply chain results company, was recently recognized by several professional organizations for successfully reaching its target audience with appealing content, innovation and design. The League of American Communications Professionals LLC (LACP) awarded i2 a Silver Award for Supply Chain Leader in the newsletter/magazine category of its annual 2007 Spotlight Awards, a print, video and web communications competition. "Supply Chain Leader proves to be remarkable in light of tremendous competition,” said Christine Kennedy, LACP managing director. "Overall we find this work to be superb. Our belief is that the target audience will find the level of relevance to be excellent, demonstrating the success of this project in connecting with the right people and delivering a highly applicable and persuasive message.” According to LACP, the competition drew an unprecedented number of submissions representing a broad range of industries and organizational sizes. Materials were judged by a field of communications professionals affiliated with LACP and their expertise spans a broad spectrum of PR functions ranging from corporate, executive, and internal communications for Fortune 500 organizations to product, service, and non-profit publicity expertise. Additionally, i2 was awarded an honorable mention from PR News during its Platinum PR Awards program. The awards salute the year’s most outstanding communications initiatives and programs and set the industry benchmark for excellence across all areas of PR. Supply Chain Leader was recognized in the External Publication category. Entries were judged by a blue chip panel of corporate, agency and academic executives, as well as by the staff of PR News. Judges evaluated entries based on creativity, innovation, sound planning and implementation. The most important criterion was proven success in aligning strategic objectives with end goals. Earlier this year Supply Chain Leader was recognized by the 18th Annual GALAXY 2007 Awards with a Silver Award for copywriting in the general magazine category. The competition honors excellence in product and service marketing and symbolizes the assembly of numerous disciplines that create marketing excellence and honors the professionals who contribute to the process of building image, creating profit and making a difference in the marketplace. "We are honored by these awards and motivated to produce even better work for our readers in the months to come. Supply Chain Leader is dedicated to demonstrating industry best practices and ground breaking success our customers worldwide, as well as the thought leadership of supply chain practitioners both inside and outside of i2,” said i2 Chief Marketing Officer John Cummings. Supply Chain Leader is written by numerous i2 thought leaders, customers and industry experts with the assistance of freelance writers and editors.
