Hyperverse Releases its Turnkey Solution for VR Location-Based-Entertainment Zones
NEW YORK, Feb. 27, 2018 /CNW/ -- Hyperverse, a location-based VR company providing free-roam full immersion VR solutions, will participate at Amusement Expo 2018 in Las Vegas. Later in March, Hyperverse will run series of demo experiences in Los Angeles and San Francisco. The company will introduce its new age Out-of-the-box "VR Park" for the Location-Based-Entertainment (LBE) industry.
Out-of-the-box VR Park is a new generation End-To-End solution for indoor entertainment that is powered by Hyperverse' proprietary inside-out tracking system. Traditional tracking solutions in most of LBVR products rely on outside-in approach with complex hardware, expensive maintenance and limited roaming experiences. Hyperverse replaced all the expensive cameras and other fine-tuned equipment with passive infrastructure. From now on, any unlimited area can be turned into a trackable zone at the "cost of paper" with accessible and affordable maintenance requirements. Implementing Hyperverse inside-out tracking principles eliminates occlusion issues for any number of multiplayer.
Today, the Hyperverse solution is targeting all type of LBE players, whether operating in a movie theatre, amusement park, or escape rooms. Hyperverse opens a wide door for new opportunities to attract tech and gaming-savvy customers. However, Hyperverse tech can be readily adapted to deploy a game zone of 12,000 square feet and larger where hundreds of people can play simultaneously bringing e-sports to a new level of immersion.
Hyperverse is HMD agnostic and uses top-notch VR hardware with 5D systems simulating weather environment, powered by in-house software and tracking algorithms. VR content creators can easily now publish on Hyperverse platform, allowing third-party studios to adapt and develop VR games that are Hyperverse platform compatible. The company has a pipeline of new titles for free-roam LBVR.
"Our mission is to democratize expensive VR products for mass-market LBE adoption and make VR arcade experiences affordable to consumers. We believe that a true LBE VR experience should cost as much as a cinema ticket, and we are making that possible" said Roman Mikhailov, Hyperverse co-founder and CEO.
The gaming industry is booming with VR segment doubling every year. Goldman Sachs predicts VR / AR market will reach $35 billion by 2025, with the number of users reaching 95 million and 315 million in these segments.
Hyperverse was created in 2016 and went through acceleration in New York. The company raised more than $1.3 million of seed funding from private investors and looking for further growth.
