Hyatt Hotels Corp. Reports 36% Decline In Q4 Profit

(RTTNews) - Hyatt Hotels Corp. (H) reported earnings for fourth quarter that retreated from last year.

The company said its profit declined to $30 million, or $0.21 per share. This was lower than $47 million, or $0.31 per share, in last year's fourth quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.24 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 2.8% to $1.11 billion. This was up from $1.08 billion last year.
