Hyatt Hotels Corp. Profit Advances 30% In Q4

(RTTNews) - Hyatt Hotels Corp. (H) announced earnings for its fourth quarter that increased compared to the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line totaled $39 million, or $0.29 per share. This was higher than $30 million, or $0.21 per share, in last year's fourth quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.28 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter fell 1.8% to $1.09 billion. This was down from $1.11 billion last year.
