Huntsman Corp. Reports 19% Retreat In Q2 Profit

(RTTNews) - Huntsman Corp. (HUN) revealed earnings for second quarter that fell compared to the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line came in at $126 million, or $0.53 per share. This was down from $155 million, or $0.63 per share, in last year's second quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.53 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter fell 7.3% to $2.54 billion. This was down from $2.74 billion last year.
