Humana Names Brian Kane CFO

(RTTNews) - Humana Inc. (HUM) said Monday that it has appointed Brian Kane as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer effective June 2014.

McCulley is currently serving as Interim Chief Financial Officer and will continue in his role as Chief Accounting Officer when Kane joins the company.

Kane, 41, brings extensive financial and strategic perspective to the CFO role, driven mainly by his significant investment banking experience at Goldman, Sachs & Co. (GS) working across several industries, including health insurance, financial institutions, real estate and consumer retail. He has also served as the lead financial advisor on many of the managed care industry's most important strategic transactions. Kane has spent nearly 17 years at Goldman, Sachs.
