HCP Announces Officer Promotions

HCP, Inc. (NYSE:HCP): HCP (NYSE:HCP) announced the promotion of eight officers: -- Edward J. Henning, Executive Vice President, General Counsel, Chief Administrative Officer and Corporate Secretary. Mr. Henning joined the Company in 1994 and most recently held the titles of Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary. -- Jonathan M. Bergschneider, Senior Vice President – Life Science Estates. Mr. Bergschneider joined Slough Estates USA Inc. in 2000 and became an HCP employee in 2007 as part of an acquisition. He most recently held the position of Vice President – Life Science Estates. -- James A. Croy, Vice President – Medical Office Properties. Mr. Croy joined MedCap Properties, LLC in 2001 and became an HCP employee in 2003 as part of an acquisition. He most recently held the position of Vice President with one of the Company’s subsidiaries. -- Arceldine Decene-Beltrene, Vice President - Accounting. Ms. Decene-Beltrene joined CNL Retirement Properties, Inc. in 2003 and became an HCP employee in 2006 as part of a merger. She most recently held the position of Director - Accounting. -- John Lu, Vice President – Investment Management. Mr. Lu joined the Company in 2006 and most recently held the position of Director – Investment Management. -- G. Michael McIlwain, Vice President – Medical Office Properties. Mr. McIlwain joined the Company in 2006 and most recently held the position of Vice President with one of the Company’s subsidiaries. -- Darrin L. Smith, Vice President – Acquisitions and Valuations. Mr. Smith joined the Company in 2007 and most recently held the position of Director – Acquisitions and Valuations. -- John D. Stasinos, Vice President – Acquisitions and Valuations. Mr. Stasinos joined the Company in 2003 and most recently held the position of Director – Acquisitions and Valuations.
