Haldex: Jan Pieters Appointed New Head of Garphyttan Wire Division

Regulatory News:

Haldex (STO:HLDX):

Jan Pieters, who has been president of Fagersta Stainless Steel AB since 2000, has been employed as head of the Garphyttan Wire division, and will be a member of Haldex's Group Management.

Jan Pieters succeeds Ulf Melin, who is leaving the Haldex Group due to differences of opinion concerning how the division's operations should be managed.

"Ulf Melin and I have different opinions concerning forthcoming priorities when it comes to managing Garphyttan Wire's operations. We have therefore agreed that the best solution is to recruit a new head for the division," says Haldex's President and Chief Executive Officer, Joakim Olsson.

"We are delighted to have recruited Jan Pieters, who has had a successful career within the steel industry and has an international background," adds Joakim Olsson.

No date has yet been set for when Jan Pieters will assume his new position.
