Guitar Center, Inc. to Hold Second Quarter 2007 Earnings Call on August 7, 2007

Guitar Center, Inc. (Nasdaq NMS: GTRC), will release second quarter 2007 earnings results on August 7, 2007 after the close of the day’s trading. The Company will host a conference call and audio webcast, both open to the general public, on August 7th at 2:00 p.m. Pacific Time (5:00 p.m. Eastern Time). The conference call may be accessed by dialing 888-791-6347 (Domestic), or 706-645-9246 (International). A replay will be available through Tuesday, August 14, 2007 by dialing 800-642-1687 (Domestic) or 706-645-9291 (International). The required pass code for the replay is 10744037. It usually takes one hour following the conference call to set up the recording. An archive will be available for twelve months following the conclusion of the conference call.
