Google New CFO Ruth Porat To Get About $70 Mln Pay Package

(RTTNews) - Google Inc. (GOOGL, GOOG) Thursday said in a regulatory filing that its newly appointed finance chief and Senior Vice President Ruth Porat would receive around $70 million in pay package. Porat's appointment is effective, May 26.

Her base salary will be $650,000, and she will get a special one-time sign-on bonus of $5,000,000.

If Porat terminates her employment with Google before completing one year with the company, she will be required to repay the special bonus, prorated for time spent at Google.

Google will make a $25 million new hire grant to be made on the first Wednesday of the calendar month following the month in which Ruth commences employment with Google. The company will also make a $40 million biennial grant in 2016.

She will also be eligible to participate in the compensation and benefit programs generally available to Google's executive officers.
