Google And Verizon Reach Global Patent License Deal - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Verizon Communications Inc. (VZ) and Google Inc. (GOOG) have entered into a long-term patent cross-license agreement covering a broad range of products and technologies. The agreement allows each company to reduce the risk of future patent litigation.

Separately, Verizon Enterprise Solutions announced that Marriott International Inc. has signed a multiyear agreement to deploy Verizon Hospitality Communications Express, which will help the premier hospitality brand fulfill its mission to provide a convenient and state-of-the-art experience to its hotel guests and employees.

Under the terms of the agreement, Verizon will become a strategic technology provider to the hospitality giant, which manages and operates hotel properties throughout the world.
