Globus Maritime Reaches Deal With Two Lenders

(RTTNews) - Globus Maritime Limited (GLBS) revealed Tuesday that it has reached a deal with two of its lenders, granting the company waivers of certain loan covenants. The dry bulk shipping company struck the agreements with DVB Bank and HSH Nordbank AG, which will defer installment loan payments due in 2017.

The company said that the deal grants some waiver relaxations and will provide the company "a breather" from those financial pressures.

Athanasios Feidakis, Globus Maritime's CEO and CFO said the agreements "allows us to concentrate in our operational activities and plan ahead."
