General Cable Reports Preliminary Q3 Results

(RTTNews) - General Cable Corp. (BGC) Monday reported preliminary results for the third quarter. For the third quarter, excluding certain items, the company generated estimated adjusted earnings per share of $0.45 and estimated adjusted operating income of $63 million.

For the third quarter, estimated reported earnings per share were $0.31 and estimated reported operating income was $56 million.

Analysts currently estimate earnings of $0.55 per share on revenues of $1.64 billion for the quarter.

The company's fourth quarter revenues are expected to be in the range of $1.55 to $1.6 billion and adjusted earnings of $0.25 to $0.35 per share.

Analysts currently estimate earnings of $0.51 per share on revenues of $1.65 billion for the quarter.
