General Cable Corp. Earnings Rise 6% In Q3

(RTTNews) - General Cable Corp. (BGC) announced a profit for its third quarter that rose compared to the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line rose to $47.4 million, or $0.26 per share. This was up from $44.9 million, or $0.23 per share, in last year's third quarter.

The company said revenue for the quarter fell 22.0% to $1.03 billion. This was down from $1.32 billion last year.
