Gartner Inc. Profit Climbs 10% In Q3

(RTTNews) - Gartner Inc. (IT) announced earnings for its third quarter that advanced from last year.

The company said its bottom line rose to $92.05 million, or $0.65 per share. This was up from $83.80 million, or $0.58 per share, in last year's third quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.52 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 44.3% to $828.09 million. This was up from $574.06 million last year.
