Garb Announces 5 Year Strategic Outlook

Garb-Oil & Power Corporation (OTCBB:GARB) www.garbop.com announces its strategic outlook defining the company’s focus for the next 5 years as the company concludes its corporate restructuring.

In preparation for Garb’s 5-year strategy the company successfully concluded a significant restructuring phase aimed at positioning Garb for gaining market share in its targeted primary markets. With this restructuring, Garb increased its number of Directors from 3 to 7. Accordingly, Garb welcomed 4 new Directors in Mr. Igor Plahuta as the company’s Director for European Operations, Mr. John Wright as Treasurer of the Board, Ms. Lynette Williams as Strategic Advisor to the Board, and Mr. John Rossi.

The new Directors support and strengthen the existing Directors, where Mr. John C Brewer remains as Director and Special Advisor to the company, Mr. Matthew Shepard retains the role of President and Chief Financial Officer and Mr. Bill Vee Anderson remains the Board’s Secretary and Machine Technical Officer. Garb also saw the retirement of its Founder, Chairman and CEO Mr. John C Brewer and the nomination and appointment of Mr. John Rossi as the new Chairman of the Board and CEO.

The corporate and board restructuring of Garb has officially been concluded and the company and its management is now positioned to move forward with the new corporate vision and the business of growing the company.

To this end, four areas of growth have been identified by Garb in which the company will concentrate corporate efforts over the next 3 to 5 years. These areas are summarized as follows:

1. Continued promotion of Garb Plants and Garb Machines in the company’s areas of expertise to include Waste Rubber, E-Scrap and Waste2Energy.
2. Garb will build its own plants in Waste Rubber and E-Scrap and other related fields as R&D permits.
3. Garb will sell processed recycled products to the market as either primary raw material or as finished product where applications are permissible.
4. Garb will continue to invest in R&D, promoting new applications in waste rubber and its new field of interest in Waste2Energy.

Garb’s technology base in manufacturing new-generation shredders, Granulators and OTR machines, together with its expertise in building Waste Rubber Plants, Tire Recycling Plants, E-Scrap Plants and Municipal and Domestic Waste Plants, make Garb ideally suited to sell and promote the refined products that derive from such plants. Products include metals and precious metals that come from Garb E-Scrap plants, Rubber Powder produced from Garb Waste Rubber Plants and Tire Recycling Plants, and Energy produced from the processing of the gasses that come from Garb General Waste Plants.
