Gable Holdings Signs Deal With Aon; Stock Rises

(RTTNews) - Gable Holdings Inc.'s (GAH.L) shares climbed around 8 percent in the morning trade in London after the non-life insurance company announced Wednesday a new European commercial combined programme with insurance and reinsurance broker Aon UK Limited, of Aon Plc (AON).

The company said it has entered into a significant and new Delegated Underwriting Agreement facilitated and administered by Aon, trading as Aon Benfield.

Under the Agreement, Gable Insurance AG will be underwriting commercial combined risks across its European territories.

Gable Holdings Chief Executive William Dewsall said, "Aon is the leading global provider of risk management, insurance and reinsurance brokerage and we are delighted that Aon has facilitated to us a programme of £10 million gross written premium annually via one of its independent MGAs for commercial combined risks across our European territories, including the UK."

In London, Gable shares are currently trading at 78.99 pence, up 5.49 pence or 7.47 percent.
