G4S Names Himanshu Raja CFO

(RTTNews) - UK-based private security firm G4S Plc (GFS.L, GFSZY.PK) Tuesday said Himanshu Raja, currently CFO of Misys Plc. (MUSJF.PK, MSY.L), would join the company's board as an executive director in the role of Chief Financial Officer on October 7. He will also serve as a member of the Risk Committee.

At Misys, Raja was responsible for finance, legal and commercial, facilities and procurement. Prior to that, he held several senior roles at BT Group Plc. before becoming CFO at Logica Plc in 2011.

Stuart Curl, G4S UK and Ireland CFO, has been serving as Interim Group CFO since June 1, after the company's then CFO Ashley Almanza was promoted to the role of CEO, following the departure of Nick Buckles from that role.

GFS.L closed down 0.3 percent at 245.30 pence.
