FXCM to Host Educational Boot Camp for UK Traders

FXCM UK, a leading provider of foreign exchange trading and related services, will host a free educational boot camp for retail FX and spread betting traders on the 30 May.

The all-day boot camp will offer unprecedented access to a number of market analysts at DailyFX, the award-winning news and research website. Each analyst will give insight into their own unique approach to spread betting the markets, sharing tools and strategies that work for them and delivering presentations that will cater to all trading styles and experience levels.

The event will equip traders with the necessary tools to conquer common pitfalls in real-time market conditions. Topics will include:

• Guidelines for measuring market sentiment to turn headlines into trading
• Insight into the emotional side of trading and how it can affect your chances of success
• Presentation on innovative forms of analysis, such as StrongWeak, which enables traders to focus on the strongest and fastest trending currency pairs, instantly giving the ‘big picture’ of major currency movements
• A live 360° Course, which will guide traders through the coming weeks' economic news and investigating technical setups and opportunities to maximise their trading potential

James Stanley

James Stanley is an Active Trader, Analyst, and Trading Instructor at DailyFX. James began trading equities and options in 1999 during one of the greatest bull markets of all-time. As the tech boom became the tech bust, James hybridized his short-term trading approach to include Swing-Trading, and Algorithmic system design. James has further developed and refined his approach while working for some of the largest banks and brokerage houses in the United States. James is graduate of Hankamer School of Business at Baylor University.

Christopher Vecchio

Christopher Vecchio is a Currency Analyst for DailyFX.com. He holds a dual Bachelor of Arts degree in Government & Law and Economics from Lafayette College. Primarily examining the interrelationship between geopolitical events, macroeconomic trends, and finance, Christopher also incorporates technical analysis into his research in order paint the most complete picture of what is occurring across various asset classes in the short-term and medium-term. Christopher is also a Level II Candidate in the CFA Program, having passed Level I in June 2013.

Alejandro Zambrano
