Freescale Semiconductor Confirms 20 Employees On Missing Malaysian Jet

(RTTNews) - Freescale Semiconductor, Ltd. (FSL) said that 20 of its employees were confirmed passengers on Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 en route from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing. Twelve of the employees are from Malaysia and eight are from China.

The company added that the entire Freescale Semiconductor community was deeply saddened by this news. Freescale is continuing to monitor the situation and will provide more information as it becomes available.

Gregg Lowe, president and CEO of Freescale said, "At present, we are solely focused on our employees and their families. Our thoughts and prayers are with those affected by this tragic event."
