Foster Wheeler Wins Contract For Owens Corning Manufacturing Facility In US

(RTTNews) - Engineering and construction contractor Foster Wheeler AG (FWLT) Thursday said a subsidiary of its Global Engineering and Construction Group has been awarded an engineering, procurement and construction management contract by Owens Corning (OC), for a new composite materials manufacturing facility in Gastonia, North Carolina. The value of the contract was not disclosed.

The Gastonia operation will support growing customer demand for glass non-woven products serving the global building materials market, the company said.

The Geneva, Switzerland-based Foster Wheeler's scope of work is expected to be completed by the end of 2015.
