Field Set for Life Time Fitness Triathlon on Saturday, July 15

What: 2006 Life Time Fitness Triathlon. The Life Time
Fitness (NYSE:LTM) event features a unique timing
structure which sets up a potential male vs. female
photo finish by giving the professional women a
calculated head start over the professional men.
This year the professional women will start 9:49 ahead
of the professional men.

When: Saturday July 15, 2006 at 8:00 a.m.

Where: Lake Nokomis in South Minneapolis, Minnesota

Who: 2,500 athletes, featuring more than 40 of the world's
elite professional male and female triathletes.
Participants will range from 88 year old Mary Stroebe
from Madison, WI, and 82 year old Robert Powers from
White Bear Lake, MN, to 12 year old Katie Pearce from
Plymouth, MN, and 14 year old Joe Schneeman from
Mendota Heights, MN. Rudy Garcia-Tolson, a double
amputee from Bloomington, CA, will be competing in his
first Life Time Fitness Triathlon. There will be
amateur competitors from 37 states in this year's event
and from as far away as New Zealand.

Courses: Olympic - 1.5 K swim, 40 K bike, 10 K run
Short Course -- .4 mile swim, 15 mile bike, 3 mile run

Prize Total Purse -- $500,000
Money: First Prize -- $200,000 in cash and prizes
First place male and female -- $80,000 each
Overall Winner Bonus -- $90,000 +$30,000 2006
