Fidelity National Information Services Reports 42% Rise In Q2 Earnings
(RTTNews) - Fidelity National Information Services (FIS) reported earnings for its second quarter that rose from last year.
The company said its bottom line advanced to $296 million, or $0.90 per share. This was up from $209 million, or $0.74 per share, in last year's second quarter.
Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.87 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
The company said revenue for the quarter rose 45.3% to $2.31 billion. This was up from $1.59 billion last year.
