Fidelity National Information Services Reports 29% Increase In Q3 Earnings
(RTTNews) - Fidelity National Information Services (FIS) reported earnings for its third quarter that advanced compared to the same period last year.
The company said its bottom line rose to $330 million, or $1.00 per share. This was higher than $255 million, or $0.90 per share, in last year's third quarter.
Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.98 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
The company said revenue for the quarter rose 46.2% to $2.31 billion. This was up from $1.58 billion last year.
