Fidelity National Information Services Announces 11% Increase In Q3 Profit
(RTTNews) - Fidelity National Information Services (FIS) reported a profit for its third quarter that climbed from last year.
The company said its bottom line climbed to $254.7 million, or $0.90 per share. This was up from $229.4 million, or $0.80 per share, in last year's third quarter.
Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.91 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
The company said revenue for the quarter fell 1.9% to $1.58 billion. This was down from $1.61 billion last year.
