Fidelity National Financial Inc Profit Advances 11% In Q2

(RTTNews) - Fidelity National Financial Inc (FNF) revealed earnings for its second quarter that increased from last year.

The company said its bottom line advanced to $207 million, or $0.74 per share. This was higher than $187 million, or $0.65 per share, in last year's second quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.66 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 6.5% to $2.13 billion. This was up from $2.00 billion last year.
