Family Dollar Appoints Jeffrey Macak As EVP, Supply Chain - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Family Dollar Stores Inc. (FDO) announced that it has appointed Jeffrey Macak as its Executive Vice President-Supply Chain. Macak will report to Mike Bloom, President and COO.

For the last 13 years, Macak has served as Vice President-Global Supply Chain for Bed Bath & Beyond, Inc. Before that, he served as President-Vantix Logistics for Ameriserve Incorporated (acquired by McLane Company).

Macak also held various positions with The Hechinger Company, a home improvement retailer, and with KPMG Consulting, LLP, and Deloitte-Garr Consulting Group. He began his career as a senior consultant with Manugistics Inc.
