    CHARLOTTE, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 3, 2005--FairPoint Communications, Inc. (NYSE:FRP) ("FairPoint") today announced that it will participate in the Morgan Stanley Tenth Annual Media & Communications Conference to be held in Washington, D.C. from May 5-6, 2005. Walter E. Leach, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer and Timothy W. Henry, Vice President of Finance & Treasurer, will present at the conference on Friday, May 6th from 2:00 pm EST to 2:40 pm EST.
