Express Inc. Raises 2018 Outlook - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Express, Inc. (EXPR) announced, for 2018, the company now expects EPS in a range of $0.43 to $0.49; and comparable sales to be between a range of flat to an increase of 1%.

For the second-quarter, net income was $2.2 million, or $0.03 per share. On average, seven analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report break even per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

For the second-quarter, net sales increased 3% to $493.6 million from $481.2 million in the second quarter of 2017. Analysts expected revenue of $483.48 million for the quarter. Comparable sales (including e-commerce sales) increased 1%, for the quarter.

Shares of Express, Inc. were up more than 12% in pre-market trade on Wednesday.
