Equifax Q3 Profit Rises - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Equifax Inc. (EFX) Wednesday reported third-quarter profit of $88.3 million or $0.71 per share, up from $77.9 million or $0.64 per share in the same period last year.

On average, 11 analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.89 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Revenues increased 10 percent to $572.0 million from $520.0 million last year. Analysts expected revenues of $574.64 million.

Looking ahead to the fiscal 2013, the company, currently projects adjusted earnigs in a range of $3.58 to $3.61 per share, which is in the top half of the previous guidance of 21 percent to 24 percent. Analysts currently expect full-year earnings of $3.60 per share.
