Equifax Inc Profit Advances 10% In Q3

(RTTNews) - Equifax Inc (EFX) revealed earnings for its third quarter that gained ground compared to the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line advanced to $137.6 million, or $1.14 per share. This was up from $124.9 million, or $1.01 per share, in last year's third quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $1.10 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 8.8% to $667.4 million. This was up from $613.4 million last year.
