Enghouse Systems Profit Rises, Tops Estimates - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Enghouse Systems Limited (ESL.TO), the Canadian enterprise software company, Tuesday reported fourth-quarter net income of C$9.7 million or C$0.36 per share, up from C$8.3 million or C$0.32 per share last year.

On average, four analysts polled by Thomson Reuters estimated earnings of C$0.25 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Revenue for the quarter grew 21% to C$47 million from C$39 million last year. Analysts expected revenue of C$47.76 million.

Growth partly reflects recent acquisitions of Safeharbor Knowledge Solutions and Andtek GmbH, the company said.

Also, the company announced a quarterly dividend of C$0.08 per common share, payable February 28, 2014 to shareholders of record February 14, 2014.

Last month, the company acquired all of the issued and outstanding common shares of Information Access Technologies Inc.
