Enghouse Profit Misses Estimates, Revenue Beats

(RTTNews) - Canadian enterprise software solutions provider Enghouse Systems Ltd (ESL.TO) on Wednesday reported second-quarter net earnings of C$7.6 million or C$0.28 per share compared with C$6.6 million or C$0.24 per share last year.

Revenues for the quarter were higher at C$68.7 million compared with C$55 million in the prior year.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters estimated earnings of C$0.33 per share on revenues of C$65 million for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Enghouse has declared an eligible quarterly dividend of C$0.12 per share.
