eFoodSafety.com, Inc. Targets Future Growth from $250 Billion Online Retail Marketplace
eFoodSafety.com, Inc. (OTCBB: EFSF) is pleased to announce that its
online marketing research for Cinnergen has indicated that over 2
million online users seek out products that will alleviate the effects
of diabetes and related blood sugar problems every month. To capitalize
on that potential volume of online traffic, the company will be
launching a complete e-commerce site at www.cinnergen.com
where visitors can order Cinnergen products at a price comparable to
that which Cinnergen is being sold through nationwide retail channels.
Cinnergen, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of eFoodSafety.com, expects
to build online sales rapidly, utilizing an internet advertising
campaign and proprietary marketing and tracking software. Valued at over
$500,000, this unique software, developed for Cinnergen, Inc., allows
the company to operate all phases of the internet sales campaign with
maximum efficiency, accountability, and customer responsiveness. Testing
of this software will commence mid-July 2007.
The online marketing program is planned to build sales rapidly and
accelerate the popularity of the Cinnergen product. The company has
already made significant marketing progress in its retail marketing
using national advertising on CNN and The Weather Channel, publicity
from Cinnergen reports on TV news from affiliates of the major networks,
and written pieces running in well-known newspapers and magazines like
the "National Examiner.” "We are pleased with the awareness and
consumer acceptance that the Cinnergen product has achieved in the
market,” said Patricia Gruden, President and
CEO of eFoodSafety.com. "Our strategy is that
coupling the potential of online sales with our previously announced
agreements for distribution through The Vitamin Shoppe, GNC, and other
national retailers will move Cinnergen into a significant share of its
market,” added Gruden.
The potential growth of Cinnergen will be linked to the significant
growth in traffic of people looking for health information on-line. It
is believed that consumers increasingly find that the benefits of
purchasing health products on-line allow them to enjoy convenience,
flexibility, privacy, and immediate access to valuable information to
improve their health.
According to Manhattan Research, a health care and marketing research
firm, the number of people in the U.S. looking for health information on
the internet has jumped from 10 million people in the year 2000 to over
100 million people today.
Forrester Research recently reported that sales online of
over-the-counter and personal care items totaled $1.3 billion last year.
That figure is expected to increase to $3.3 billion by 2011. The report
also predicted that "Nontravel online retail revenues will top the
quarter-trillion-dollar mark by 2011.”
