Edwards Lifesciences Corp. Profit Rises 31% In Q1

(RTTNews) - Edwards Lifesciences Corp. (EW) revealed a profit for its first quarter that gained ground compared to the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line totaled $202.5 million, or $0.94 per share. This was up from $154.2 million, or $0.71 per share, in last year's first quarter.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 26.7% to $883.5 million. This was up from $697.3 million last year.
