Eaton Vance Expands Portfolio Management of Certain Closed-End Funds
Eaton Vance Management (EVM) announced the following additions to the
portfolio management of certain of its closed-end funds:
Ralph H. Hinckley Jr., CFA will join Scott H. Page as the co-portfolio
manager of Eaton Vance Floating-Rate Income Trust (NYSE:EFT). Mr.
Hinckley is a Vice President of EVM and joined the firm in 2003. Mr.
Hinckley has 10 years of experience in bank loans, having previously
worked at State Street Bank and Citizens Bank. He earned his B.A. from
Bates College and his M.B.A., with honors, from the Boston University
Graduate School of Management. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a
member of the Boston Security Analyst Society.
Catherine McDermott will join the portfolio management team of Eaton
Vance Limited Duration Income Fund (AMEX: EVV), which currently includes
Mark S. Venezia, Michael Weilheimer, Scott Page, Payson Swaffield, Susan
Schiff and Christine Johnston. She will also join the portfolio
management team of Eaton Vance Short Duration Diversified Income Fund
(NYSE: EVG), which currently includes Mark S. Venezia, Scott Page,
Payson Swaffield, Susan Schiff and Christine Johnston. Ms. McDermott is
a Vice President of EVM and joined the firm in 2000. She has 18 years of
experience in bank loans and credit and risk management. Ms. McDermott
graduated from Boston College with a B.A., summa cum laude.
Peter Campo, CFA will join Mr. Page and Craig R. Russ on the portfolio
management team of Eaton Vance Senior Floating-Rate Trust (NYSE: EFR).
Mr. Campo is a Vice President of EVM and joined the firm in 2003 as an
analyst. Prior to joining EVM, Mr. Campo worked in the bank loan group
of CyrpressTree Investments. Mr. Campo is a graduate of Bentley College
and received his M.B.A from Bentley in 1999. He is a Chartered Financial
Analyst.
The Funds are managed by EVM, a subsidiary of Eaton Vance Corp., which
is listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol EV. Eaton
Vance and its affiliates had $158.5 billion in assets under management
as of December 31, 2007.
