Earnings In Focus: June 6 (THO, SIG)

Signet Jewelers Ltd. (SIG) intends to announce its first-quarter results at about 7:00 a.m. ET today. Wall Street analysts are estimating a loss of $0.09 per share and revenue of $1.4 billion for the quarter.

During the fourth-quarter results, Signet announced a three-year comprehensive transformation plan to reposition the company to be a share gaining, OmniChannel jewelry category leader. The three-year plan includes cost efficiencies, a portion of which will be reinvested in growth initiatives including 1) eCommerce growth; 2) OmniChannel capabilities; and 3) innovation in product assortment and the store experience.

This transformation plan is likely to drive long-term sustainable, profitable sales growth and create value for shareholders.
