Dynegy Posts $91 Mln Loss In Q4 - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Electric utility Dynegy Inc. (DYN) Thursday reported fourth-quarter net loss of $91 million, compared to a loss of $107 million in the year-ago quarter.

Fourth quarter operating loss was $107 million, as against an operating loss of $104 million in the prior year.

Total adjusted EBITDA was $63 million for the recent quarter.

For full year 2014, the company forecast total adjusted EBITDA to be between $300 million and $350 million.

"Looking forward to 2014, we expect volatility in near-term natural gas and power prices to continue as a result of demand and the steep decline in natural gas inventories," said Dynegy President and Chief Executive Officer Robert Flexon.
