Cologne / Berlin, June 5, 2018. sporttotal.tv gmbh, a wholly-owned subsidiary of SPORTTOTAL AG, is strengthening its management team by appointing Caroline Päffgen and Martin Czuchra, forging ahead the further growth of the innovative portal for online sports videos and live streaming.

Sports business expert Caroline Päffgen, 29, comes from SPORTTOTAL cooperation partner WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management in Düsseldorf, where she is currently working on her doctorate at the Center for Sports and Management. Päffgen is to take over the newly created position of Head of Product & Business Development at the Cologne-based streaming provider. She studied at WHU, Queen's School of Business (Kingston, Canada) and at Monash University (Melbourne, Australia) and subsequently worked for the consultancy company INVERTO GmbH.

As Head of Web Engineering, Martin Czuchra, 33, is to strengthen the Digital Lab where sporttotal.tv develops all its digital products. In recent years, Czuchra worked as an independent software developer, implementing projects for Viacom, among others, and was co-founder of mindpost GmbH. Prior to this, he worked for SAP Labs in Silicon Valley.
In future, he will be responsible for the various websites of sporttotal.tv and will report directly to Senior Vice President Kasar Masood, 46, who switched from Viacom International Media Networks to join sporttotal.tv in January 2018.
