ROK Stars announce ABK Beers have been awarded First Place in 2 categories at the Great International Beer, Cider, Mead and Sake Competition

ABK's Hell and Edel beers each win First Place in blind-tasting competition

ROK Stars PLC, the consumer and environmental products company co-founded by U.S. billionaire John Paul DeJoria and U.K. entrepreneur Jonathan Kendrick, has announced its ABK Hell and Edel beers have been awarded First Place in their respective beer categories at the highly prestigious 21^st annual GIBCC held in Bridgeport, Connecticut on the 11^th November.

A total of 835 beers, ciders, meads and sakes from across the U.S. and from around the world entered the competition which was judged by 120 professionals from all three tiers of the beer, cider, mead and sake industries, as well as food and drinks journalists, in a blind tasting format where the judges knew only the style and subcategory of each entry.

Commenting, Jonathan Kendrick said "We're delighted that ABK beer continues to win awards for its outstanding quality and to win blind-tasting competitions makes the awards all the more special. ABK has been brewing world-class beers in Kaufbeuren, Bavaria, since 1308 and we are very proud to add these awards to our roster of Gold medals awarded to us by the European Beer Star competition and the World Beer Championships, amongst many others."
