Nanogate AG: Significant expansion of US business
Supply of glazing components for car manufacturer - Annual volume in the mid-single-digit million range
Göttelborn, Germany, 9 June 2016. Nanogate AG, a leading international integrated systems provider for high-performance surfaces, has seen a significant increase in sales in the US. The Group is supplying a car manufacturer with glazing components to be built into the exterior of vehicles. The order has an annual volume in the mid-single-digit million euro range. Nanogate AG's US subsidiary, which was established a few weeks ago, is also involved in the implementation.
Nanogate AG's CEO, Ralf Zastrau, commented: "As the world's largest economy, the US plays a central role in our strategy of internationalisation. This major order gives us reason to be optimistic about future development. In particular, enhanced plastic components of the highest optical quality - such as those we are already supplying to a car manufacturer - are in high demand around the world. Opening up new, international markets is an important component of our Phase5 growth strategy, with which we intend to continue significantly increasing business volume and profitability."
