HELMA Eigenheimbau AG: new order intake for first nine months of FY 2016 reported

Lehrte, October 13, 2016 - HELMA Eigenheimbau AG, specialist for individual solid-construction houses and sustainable energy concepts, achieved net new order intake of EUR 190.5 million during the first nine months of the current financial year. In line with the expectation that new order intake in 2016 will be distributed more evenly than in the 2015 financial year, the Group did not fully attain its previous year's outstanding figure for this period of EUR 205.0 million. It should be noted that the previous year's figures included EUR 25.5 million for the disposal of a residential property project that was originally planned for individual sale and was instead sold in its entirety to an institutional investor in August 2015. Adjusting for this large order, new order intake for the first nine months of the 2016 financial year was EUR 11.0 million up on the previous year's level. The HELMA Group consequently continues with the track record of growth that it has established over the past several years. The level of the adjustment is based on the realistic assumption that when being sold on an individual basis the new order intake for this residential property project would have been distributed approximately half-half between the 2015 and 2016 financial years.

Strong Q4 2016 expected:

The Management Board of HELMA Eigenheimbau AG assumes that the fourth quarter of 2016 will constitute the strongest quarter of the financial year. The subsidiary HELMA Ferienimmobilien GmbH forms a special highlight in this context, where significant record figures for new orders are anticipated on a full-year view due to very good new order intake figures for the Olpenitz Baltic Sea resort project. Overall, this lays the foundation for further revenue growth in the following years. New order intake figures for the full 2016 year will be published on January 12, 2017.
