Refinancing negotiations for the restructuring and implementing the new strategic accentuation are coming to a conclusion

Cologne, 30 April 2019 - Vapiano SE (ISIN: DE000A0WMNK9) is currently conducting negotiations with the financing banks and with the involvement of major shareholders Mayfair Beteiligungsfonds II GmbH & Co. KG, VAP Leipzig GmbH & Co. KG and Exchange Bio GmbH for refinancing of around 30 Mio. EUR. The funds are to be used for the financial restructuring of the company and to further implement the new strategic accentuation. The parties intend to conclude the negotiations soon. However, since a refinancing agreement is a prerequisite for finalising and certifying the annual and consolidated financial statements, these are expected to be published on 24 May 2019 and not on 3 May 2019, as announced. Against this background, the Company's Annual General Meeting will not be able to take place on 5 June 2019 as announced; the Company will separately announce a new date.
