Constantin Medien AG again raises earnings forecast for the financial year 2015

Ismaning, December 17, 2015 - The Management Board raises its forecast for the financial year 2015 regarding the earnings attributable to shareholders. Based on unchanged currency conditions, these earnings now amount to EUR 10 million to EUR 12 million (previously: EUR 4 million to EUR 6 million).

Reasons are on the one hand the positive operating business performance of the Sports Segment in the fourth quarter of 2015 above expectations. On the other hand, today the Landgericht München I has in the judicial review proceeding (Spruchverfahren) Metropol int.al. ./. Constantin Medien AG dating back to 2004 rejected the claims of the applicants regarding the determination of a higher settlement amount; a corresponding provision has to be reversed. The court ruling is not yet legally binding.

Based on unchanged currency conditions, the Management Board adheres to its previous sales guidance for the 2015 financial year and is still assuming Group sales to range between EUR 450 million and EUR 490 million.

The consolidated financial statements 2015 of Constantin Medien AG will be published in March 2016.
